SGA T-Shirt Design Contest

The Student Government is sponsoring a T-Shirt design contest where the winner's work will be printed and distributed throughout the the college campus.

The winner will also recieve either a Dell Netbook OR a Wacom Tablet. YOUR CHOICE!

The designs must incorporate the SGA Logo (email sgasocialdirector@citytech.cuny.edu for a copy). All designs must be recieved by JANUARY 24, 2011 at 5PM.

Ambassador's Training with CUNY Malave Leadership Academy

Learn how to become more involved in your college and your community. Improve your advocacy, communication and leadership skills! Attend Ambassadors Training sponsored by the CUNY Malave Leadership Academy.

This is to be held at City Tech in the ATRIUM AMPHITHEATER on FRIDAY, DECEMBER 3, 2010 at 10AM.

Haunted Hotel

   As the Halloween weekend approaches, I would like encourage you all to attend the "Haunted Hotel" produced by the Department of Entertainment and Technology. It is a great opportunity to go out and enjoy the festivities while supporting the department in their event. Tickets are $6 general admission, $4 for students with ID. Not advisable for pre-school age children. Performance dates and times are as follows:

Saturday, October 30, 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Sunday, October 31, 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.

Alumni Reunion November 6, 2010

This festive and fun-filled School of Professional Studies-hosted “Tastes of New York/Casino Night” Alumni Reunion Dinner Dance will feature fine foods of New York’s great neighborhoods, live entertainment, live DJ and dancing, plus casino games, auction and raffle. City Tech Scare Fair

SGA and the Office of Student Life invites all to attend the annual City Tech Scare Fair. The Fair will take place in the Voorhees Hall from 6-9PM in the lounge. This fun will take place on Friday October 29, 2010. There will be FREE candy, prizes and raffles. Invite the family and friends. Also be sure to check out the Gravesend Inn in the Voorhees Auditorium.

City Tech Trip to Albany

The Law and Paralegal Club is sponsoring a day trip to Albany to observe the Court of Appeals in action. The trip is on Monday November 15, 2010. The deadline to pay for the Albany trip is Friday, October 29th. Stop by Room N622 or the SGA Office Room G400 for more information. The amount is $25. If you know anyone who is interested please let them know. This trip is also open to all as well. Thank you.

NTT Release Party

Our school Newspaper will be holding its release party to celebrate its first issue this Thursday October 7th 2010 at 12:45pm in the Ground Floor of the Atruim Building. There will be prizes given away in a Raffle (USB Drives Tee-Shirts and more!) Hope to see everyone there.

Club Council Sept 30, 2010 at 1PM

The SGA will be holding its first meeting of Club Council in Room Namm 420A on Sept. 30, 2010 at 1PM. Here the Vice President will relay information that will help all students that organize clubs to learn the process that City Tech puts in place to obtain, money, certification and event space.

Refreshments will be served. All are invited.

Club Fair

Wanna get to know the Clubs on campus?? All students are invited to attend the Club Fair on September 23, 2010 during Club Hour (12:45pm - 2:15pm). The Fair will take place on the Ground and First Floors of the Atrium Building This will serve as the time for you to get to know the clubs that City Tech has to offer and if you are currently a Club Member you may want to use this time to advertise your club. If you would like further information on how to attain a space to advertise your club, you may inquire with Nerida Garcia in Room G516.

Club Certification

The Office of Student Life and Development is currently distributing the materials needed for a club to become certified. We invite all students who are interested in beginning a club to visit Student Life in Room G516. Keep in mind that Certification is Due on Monday, September 27, 2010.
